This is the English translation of the Datenschutzerklärung; the German version applies in case of doubt. This website sets no cookies, uses no tracking and loads nothing from third parties.

What this website does not do

This website sets no cookies. It embeds no analytics, advertising or tracking services, no social media plugins and no external fonts or scripts; the font is served from our own server. There is no user account and no profiling, so there is no consent banner either.

Contact form

When you write to us through the contact form, we send your details by e-mail to our mailbox and keep them there to answer your request:

  • name and e-mail address
  • company and topic, if given
  • your message
  • the time of the request; it is only sent with your consent
  • which form and which language the request was sent from

Your IP address is not stored with the request. To limit automated mass requests, the server keeps a hash of the IP address for about one minute. The e-mail carries your address as its reply address so that we can answer you directly.

The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where your request aims at a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time for the future, informally by e-mail.

We delete your request once it is settled, at the latest twelve months after the last contact, unless statutory retention duties apply. The data is not passed on to third parties and not used for advertising.

Protection against automated requests

The form contains a field that is invisible to people and only filled in by automated scripts. If it is filled in, we discard the request without storing anything. No puzzle and no third-party service is used for this.

Processing on our behalf

This website and our mailbox are operated by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany, on servers in Germany. STRATO processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR.

Server log files

Accessing this website technically produces log data such as IP address, time, requested file, browser and operating system. It serves secure and stable operation and the defence against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. It is not combined with the requests. STRATO deletes these log data after seven days at the latest.

Links to other websites

This website links to the website of our partner company. Data is only transferred to that provider when you click such a link; its privacy notice then applies.
